 Looking for a great Indian cookbook -? I'm originally from the UK (which boasts the best Indian food, second to India only) and I'd like a good cookbook but don't have any currently. I know that in the UK, Madhur Jaffrey is synonymous with Indian cuisine, but what about a book called The Curry House? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Madhur Jaffrey,baaa, The books by Miridula Baljekar are superb. You could also go to www. recipezaar.com look up Indian curries, Sri Lankan curries. Etc. Etc. Indian curries are more complex the those from Sri lanka, but for all that the Sri Lankan ones are wonderful, if hotter. I post recipes almost everyday (curries) that is, you could email me for anything special. I would be pleased to help. I would send photographs of the dish if I have them. I am compiling a curry cookbook at the moment. I have lived in India (Ceylon) Sri Lanka, Singapore and have thousands of recipes from the east. I hope that this helps. P.s.
