Tasty Recipes? Hi all, I am after some websites or books I can find some really delicious vegetarian meals to add to my diet ( I am not a vegetarian). I really like the veg burgers, and soy food but what about other recipes? I recently tried chick pea curry from an Indian Takeaway and it was sooo good- better than any meat curry to be honest! I have tried to cook veg curry but somehow comes out with very little flavour and consistency no matter how much seasoning I add! Please suggest websites that you/friends actually use or have been recommended and have tried the recipes from! Try Cranks Fast Food - it's a beautiful book. I'm just slow roasting some tomatoes in the oven as we speak - a recipe from that book. Once they are done (with basil and garlic and olive oil) they keep in a jar for weeks. Lovely with salads, pasta or just in a bowl beside some olives and a glass of wine! Try making some vegetarian lasagna's - creamy mushroom, or aubergine and tomato or spinach and ricotta. Also, homemade soups with freshly baked bread is always a crowd pleaser. With regards to your curries - are you cooking with enough corriander, cardomom, fennel seeds, turmeric etc - those are the things that will pack in flavour for you. Best of luck Cx
